Privacy

TabMD is built to keep page content on your device. This page explains what we store, what Stripe handles at checkout, and how to reach us.

Summary

Conversion is local HTML → Markdown runs in your browser. Page content is not uploaded for conversion.
License keys stay local Activated keys are stored in chrome.storage on your machine.
Payments via Stripe Checkout on tabmd.co is processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

Chrome extension

When you convert a tab, TabMD reads the active page in the browser and generates Markdown locally (content script / scripting APIs). Copy, download, and Viewer features operate on that Markdown on your device.

Preferences such as Include options (Images, Links, Meta) and your license / plan state are stored with Chrome’s extension storage APIs (chrome.storage). That data stays in your Chrome profile unless you clear extension data or uninstall.

Clipboard permissions are used only when you choose to copy Markdown out or paste Markdown into the Viewer. Context menus and keyboard shortcuts run conversion or open the Viewer when you invoke them.

Website & checkout

The marketing and checkout site at www.tabmd.co provides product information, Stripe Checkout for Pro / Lifetime plans, activation help, and this privacy policy.

Payment card data is collected and processed by Stripe. TabMD does not receive or store full payment card numbers. After a successful purchase, you receive a license key to activate in the extension. Email used at checkout is handled as part of the Stripe / fulfillment flow so we can deliver your key.

This site does not currently embed third-party analytics trackers. Hosting and delivery may produce standard server or CDN access logs (for example IP address, user agent, and requested URL) as part of operating the site.

We do not sell personal information. We share data only as needed to process payments (Stripe), operate hosting infrastructure, or comply with law.

Retention & your controls

Extension data is under your control in Chrome. Remove it by clearing site / extension data or uninstalling TabMD. For billing questions or license help after purchase, contact us using the links below. You can also manage subscriptions through Stripe’s customer portal when that flow is enabled for your purchase.
